This file contains letters from Charles H. Sternberg, Lyman D. Wooster, Myrl V. Walker, and others regarding George F. Sternberg. The bulk of materials were composed after George F. Sternberg's retirement. The file also contains one postcard sent to the Sternberg Memorial Museum in 1972 and a letter dating from 1987 sent to Katherine Rogers regarding items relating to Sternberg.

This file contains typed lists of fossils collected by George F. Sternberg in various locations. Many items contain a detailed description of fossil specimens. Several specimens contain drawings or attached photographs. Some specimens are labeled with their date of discovery. Handwritten notes indicate which items were sold, stored, on exhibit, gifted, or kept. This file also contains lists of fossils for sale or offered on auction by George F. Sternberg.

This file contains a typed transcript created by Katherine Rogers of George F. Sternberg's diary from the Field Museum expedition to Patagonia in 1923 from March 8 to April 10. The file also contains a handwritten page of Rogers's notes regarding Sternberg's fossil-hunting expeditions from 1924 to 1963.
