Scope and Contents
This file contains the typed field notes of George F. Sternberg's fossil-hunting expeditions from 1924 to 1929. The notes consist of a list of specimens collected during expeditions in Kansas, Wyoming, Texas, and Nebraska. Specimens are listed in chronological order of discovery with the locations, collector/discoverer, and description. Some specimens include a note stating if and to where the fossil was sold. The fossil-hunting parties consisted of George F. Sternberg, E. Cooke, Myrl V. Walker, and William Speer. Some notes and diagrams on Myrl V.
