Scope and Contents
This file contains the typed field notes of George F. Sternberg's fossil-hunting expeditions from 1930 to 1932. The notes consist of a list of specimens collected during expeditions in Douglas, Wyoming, and various locations in Kansas. Specimens are listed in chronological order of discovery with the locations, collector/discoverer, and description. Some specimens include a handwritten note stating if and to where the fossil was sold. The fossil-hunting parties consisted of George F. Sternberg, Myrl V. Walker, and George B. Pearce.
