Photograph Album 1, 1906-1915

This photo album contains images from George F. Sternberg's life in Lawrence, Kansas, and his early expeditions from 1906 to 1912. Several of the trips are with his father, Charles H. Sternberg. Other members of these expeditions included Barnum Brown, Harvey Bassler, George Olsen, Peter C. Kaisen, Willard Rusk, and Gus Badgley. The expedition teams traveled throughout central and western Kansas, South Dakota, Colorado, Wyoming, and Canada. Travel photographs include family trips to Washington D.C. and New York. George photographed family members and friends and included these in the album. Images in the album span the years 1906-1915.
