Series IV: Photograph albums, 1906-1950
Scope and Contents
This series consists of eight photo albums created by George F. Sternberg or his associates that were previously donated to the Sternberg Museum of Natural History. The albums contain photographs documenting George F. Sternberg's family life, fossil hunts, travels, and other activities. These albums have been digitized and are available online through the FHSU Scholars Repository.
This series also contains several loose photo album pages of unknown origin. The photographs in these pages relate to George F. Sternberg and his work as curator for the natural history museum at Fort Hays Kansas State College.
