This collection includes multiple copies of every Reveille yearbook published from 1914 to 2003.

Abstract

The James R. Start Papers consist of the papers of James R. Start, who served as a faculty member in the Speech and English Departments at Fort Hays Kansas State College from 1920 to 1965. The papers consist of speeches, articles, reading lists and correspondence related to his time at Fort Hays State University.

The Sternberg Family Collection includes writings, field notes, photographs and other materials related to the history of the Sternberg family and their paleontological research and findings.

Scope and Contents Materials contained in the Viola Vincent Kaempfe Collection consist of objects, books, papers, and photographs. Materials are arranged chronologically by their relationship to Viola’s nursing studies at Fort Hays. The artifacts series consists of objects related to Viola Vincent Kaempfe's time in the nursing program at Fort Hays, as well as her career thereafter. The Myrl V. Walker Papers consist of the papers of Myrl V. Walker, who taught geology at Fort Hays Kansas State College and served as the director of the Sternberg Memorial Museum from 1955 to 1973. The materials are comprised of correspondence, articles, reports, photographs, and photographic negatives.

The Raymond L. Welty Papers consists of the papers of Dr. Raymond L. Welty, who taught in the history department at Fort Hays Kansas State College from 1936 to 1963. The materials date between 1920 and 1963. The papers are comprised of correspondence, research notes, course outlines, student papers, and a map.
