Series VI: Video Cassettes and Motion Picture Film, 1940-2000
Scope and Contents
This series contains 3 reel-to-reel films, 3 videocassette tapes, and 1 betacam tape transferred to the University Archives from the Sternberg Museum of Natural History (Accession #2004-06-17). The film reels contain motion picture footage of George F. Sternberg's fossil hunting expeditions, including a film reel documenting the collection and preparation of the fossilized fish within a fish. The videocassettes contain reformatted transfers of the film reels and interviews conducted by the Sternberg Museum of Natural History about George F. Sternberg.
