General

Back: Silver Saddle Motel, East Phillipsburg, Kansas. 26 Lovely Modern Rooms - Fireproof - Insulated - Carpets, Wall to Wall - Refrigerated - Air-conditioned - Adjoining Golf Course. Handwritten: Mon. Sept. 19. Phillipsburg, Kans. To-day we have ridden thru flat uninteresting country. Seen acres of corn, some cattle and hogs - no wild life. We are staying in this very nice motel to-night in #2. I have marked it with a cross. If you follow 26 route to Elm Creek then turn south on 183 you will note how straight the road is. To-morrow we will cross Kansas on Route 36. Love from us all, Fleda | Mr. & Mrs. Floyd D. Martin, South Royalton, Vermont
