Front: Handwritten: Irving, Kansas Aug 12, 1908 My Dear Sister, I must tell you a sad news. Our dear grandpa died the 11th at 6 o'clock. The funeral will be tomorrow. We are all at fair health, hope you are the same. Mama is not home and I don't know what to do first. Aunt Nancy told me to tell you that grandpa Pushey is not coming untill later and will let you know. Uncle Adolph and Anton came home yesterday. No use for you to come home as card will reach you today after. Your loving sis, Lottie
