Back: THE SPING PLANTING SEASON is not regulated by dates but by the CONDITION OF THE STOCK WHEN RECEIVED. It it is better a little late than TOO EARLY since it will make a quicker and better start if the ground has become thoroughly warmed before planting. If the trees are REASONABLY DORMANT that is all that is necessary, nor does it make any difference how far advanced vegetation may be in general at the time and place of transplanting. Handwritten: Mrs. David Weeks, Belvue, Kans.
