Scope and Contents
Photographic prints, proofs, and negatives are arranged by job order number. Job orders were assigned identifiers based partially on year and month, and then a unique numerical job order number. Original job order numbers are retained to maintain original order of the collection materials.
Materials related to job orders are contained in individual envelopes with information written or typed on the outside. Handwritten logs, indexes, and other aids were harvested for information related to specific job orders beyond the information available on the outside of the envelopes. Original envelopes are now housed in acid free file folders, and placed in archival cubic foot boxes to aid in location and preservation of the materials.

Series Description
Series in the collection are based on the regular calendar year of the job order. While Academic or Fiscal years may appear in other collections related to University generated materials, for the purposes of this aid, the true calendar year is used to maintain transparency.
