This series contains Dr. Forsythe's research on the history of Kansas. Topics include materials documenting the settlement of Hays and Ellis County, the establishment and activities of nearby military installations at Fort Hays, Fort Harker, and Fort Wallace, and an overview of the Indigenous people and Tribal reservations within the State of Kansas.
