The Dana Chwan Collection contains items that pertain to the Vietnam War. Most of the items are periodicals and publications, including National Geographic, National Vietnam Veterans Coalition, Soldier of Fortune and Time Magazine. There are numerous files of newspaper clippings from various newspapers from around the country. There are two folders containing the National Vietnam Veterans Readjustment Study.

Abstract
Dana Chwan was the wife of First Lieutenant Michael Chwan, an Air Force pilot shot down over North Vietnam at the beginning of the war. He was listed on the Missing in Action and Prisoner of War lists for years until 2/3 of his teeth and a piece of his jaw bone were identified. Those remains of Lt. Chwan are now buried in Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.Because of Lt. Chwan's involvement with the Vietnamese conflict, Dana Chwan was extremely active in POW/MIA...
