Stouffer, Jean, 1919-1976

This collection consists of the papers of Jean Stouffer, who taught education and served as Dean of Women and later as Associate Dean of Students at Fort Hays Kansas State College from 1950 to 1976. The papers are comprised of photographs, 35mm slides, memorabilia, genealogy research materials, and reel-to-reel audio recordings of ethnographic research.

This collection consists of the personal papers of Leora B. Stroup, who founded the Nursing Department at Fort Hays Kansas State College and who taught nursing from 1952 to 1971. The materials consist of photographs, correspondence, textiles, and documentation for the Leora B. Stroup Japanese Scroll Collection.
