Reveille Yearbook Committee (1914-2003)

 Organization

Historical Note

The Reveille Yearbook Committee was the student-led editorial committee for the annual Reveille yearbook. It was organized in 1914 under President William A. Lewis following the separation of the Fort Hays Kansas Normal School from the Emporia Normal School. The first editor-in-chief was Alfred Richmond, Class of 1914. The committee typically operated with a faculty advisor who facilitated the editorial committee and made sure that all student members understood their responsibilities. The committee's operating budget was determined by the Student Government Association. The Reveille ceased publication in 2003. Its final editor-in-chief was Janie Sigle, Class of 2003.
