Scope and Contents Scrapbooks were primarily compiled by the President's Office, University Relations, Public Relations, and other public facing entities of Fort Hays. The clippings were sometimes compiled by clipping bureaus before assembly into books. The media coverage offers a comprehensive view of public media focusing on Fort Hays State.

The scrapbooks are in various states of dis-repair and other points of accessing similar information include utilizing digitized newspaper databases.
