Back: Handwritten: Tonganoxie Kan May 5, 1930 - Dear [illegible] - We have come [illegible for the next six words] 240 mi - we are a little east of Topeka & Lawrence this State university town. We are lucky - for we have this house to ourselves. Everyone is bathing - or getting into [illegible] things. Called on Juno Ray at Newton. He is young at 19 - didn't know me at first but [illegible] after he realized. It is warm & muggy. With much love - Mother- At present {illegible for rest of sentence]. |
