Dear Bro, I write few lines this morning it was very cold last night but day people are plowing & sowing oats & what look very well it is a late spring but nothing like it is north in Iowa the snow is 6 ft deep in places and the R. R. stopped [illegible words] is going to her father in Wichita of this mo. we are all well at this time health is generally good lots of Emigration to this state this spring I shall look for you soon.
