According to church history found at http://www.wccckc.com/church-history/, Rev. Charles Boles served in White Church in 1871-1873. The writer, J. King (Rev. Joseph King) served from 1876-1878.

Front: Handwritten: White Church May 10th. Dear Pa, your postal just to how glad to hear from you. Sorry to hear of your Rhumatism. Hope you will soon be entirely recovered. We are all in usual health except myself. I have been real sick for the past week with congestion of the bowels was taken suddenly in the night thought my time have come for a while was unable to preach last Sunday. I am much better & hope to preach on Sabbath. Hope this will find you all well. The family joins me in love to you all. Come over. Bring the family. I think you ought to do so. You did not say whether you want that Buggy or not. If you want it, you can get it for $90.00. Let me know. Affectionately, J. King.
