Front: Typed message - increase over last week, and the run of Texas sheep and goats shows quite an increase and with Eastern mutton markets the buyers here have been very bear-ish and have succeeded in breaking prices from 50 to 75 cents under what they were one week ago, in cases some grades show even a further decline than this. A few cars of spring lambs from Missouri have been here this week, but none of them have shown any finish, most all of the yearling wethers have been pretty good. We started out in the native season this week about the same as we have done the past few years, topping the markets, on Monday we sold a load of yearling wethers weighing 84 lbs. at $8.25 per cwt., the top of the market.
