Front: 4th Congressional District Old Soldiers' Re-Union, Council Grove, Kansas, September 5-6-7-8. Written on front: Oct. 30, 1907 Dear Friend we got home all right and all of the peopple [sic] seem to be glad to see us and Mr B had the house all painted up nice just as I had I said I like to have it. I have been so very busy cleaning house I had to stop as it has rained for two days overall. What a nice time we had while we was in the East every one was so nice to us, but one you knew but we did have a next with the one our last visit was not very pleasant. We have to make the best of those things with love from us.
