Back: John Morrel & Co. is the oldest and fifth largest meat packing firm now doing business in the United States. The business was started in Bradford, England, in 1827; in U.S.A., 1865; Ottumwa, Iowa, 1877; Sioux Falls, S. Dakota, 1909; Topeka 1931.
