U.S. Navy (USN), enlisted. Served on an Amphibious Personal Attack (APA) ship (USS Thurston) and was involved in D-Day. Wales, England, Naples, Casablanca in the European theater. The ship also went into the Pacific theater. Saipan, Iwo Jima, Okinawa WWII
