U.S. Navy (USN), enlisted. Career military. Was on the U.S.S. Hornet when it was sunk during World War II. Corpsman. Attached to the Marines during the invasions of Saipan, Iwo Jima and Okinawa. Fought in the Chosin Reservoir in Korea. Served on the hospital ship Sanctuary during the Vietnam Conflict. WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War
