Mr. Thos McBride Esq

Please find enclosed all the papers you sent for us to sign. I should have returned it sooner but I have been so busy threshing for the last three weeks. Grain yielded from twelve to twenty bu per acre here but corn is uteerly destroyed by the the grasshopers and will be a filure. Pleaes let me know in your next if you have made any progress in collecting
